The Cybersecurity Conference will be held at Padma Resort Bali, a beachfront luxury resort located in the heart of Legian, Bali. Due to the popularity of Bali as a global tourist destination, hotel availability near the venue may be limited, especially during peak seasons.

  • Participants are strongly advised to make hotel reservations as early as possible.
  • Hotels may require a deposit equivalent to one night’s stay at the time of booking.
  • Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodation and travel expenses.

GETTING TO LEGIAN

Legian is a popular coastal district located between Kuta and Seminyak in southern Bali, Indonesia. It is easily accessible from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) and well connected by road to all major areas of Bali. These guides explain every travel options, from international arrival to final transportation within Legian.


International Travel to Bali

Primary Airport: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS)

Location: Tuban, Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia

Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is Bali’s main international gateway, serving direct and connecting flights from Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Most international travelers reach Bali through: Direct flights from major hubs such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Doha, and Dubai. One-stop connections via regional hubs for long-haul routes from Europe and North America.

Major airlines serving DPS include: Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, EVA Air, Malaysia Airlines, Thai Airways, AirAsia (international routes)

Arrival Process at DPS Airport, Upon landing in Bali, travelers will proceed through the following steps: Disembark the aircraft, Immigration control, Passport with minimum 6 months validity, Visa-on-Arrival or e-Visa (if applicable), Baggage claim, Customs inspection, Exit to international arrivals hall.

Average processing time: 30–90 minutes, depending on arrival volume.


Transportation from DPS Airport to Legian

Legian is approximately 6–8 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Travel time typically ranges from 15 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

  • Hotel Airport Transfer (Recommended)
    Many hotels in Legian offer private airport transfers with a professional driver. Book the transfer in advance through your hotel. Driver meets you at the arrivals hall with a name sign. Direct transfer to your hotel in Legian
  • Airport Taxi (Official Taxi Counter)
    Official airport taxis are available at designated counters inside the arrivals terminal. Proceed to the official taxi counter. Provide your destination address in Legian. Pay the fixed fare at the counter. Present the receipt to the driver
  • Ride-Hailing Services (Grab / Gojek)
    Popular app-based transportation services operating throughout Bali. Download the Grab or Gojek app. Follow airport signage to the designated ride-hailing pickup area. Enter your hotel address in Legian
  • Pre-Booked Private Driver
    Private drivers can be booked in advance through travel agencies or online platforms.
  • Car Rental
    Car rental services are available at the airport and in Legian. Traffic in Bali can be congested. Driving standards differ from many countries. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required
  • Domestic Travel to Legian (Within Indonesia)
    Travelers arriving from other Indonesian cities (Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, etc.) will arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Follow the same airport-to-Legian transportation options listed above. Domestic flights operate frequently throughout the day.

VISA

If you require a Visa Letter of Invitation to support your visa application for entering Indonesia to attend the Cybersecurity Conference in Legian, Bali, please complete the Visa Letter Request Form and select this conference.


Please Note:

  1. It is conference policy to only issue Visa Letters of Invitation to registered participants whose conference registration fee has been paid in full (e.g., authors, speakers, committee members, and confirmed attendees).
  2. The Organizing Committee can only issue the Visa Letter of Invitation for the purpose of attending the conference. No other kind of documentation will be provided for use in visa applications.
  3. Please allow 3–5 business days for processing your request.
  4. If you require a hard copy of the visa letter, a shipping fee may apply to cover mailing costs, which will be added to your conference registration fee.

  • The Organizing Committee cannot influence or overrule decisions made by any embassy, consulate, or government department, nor will the Organizing Committee appeal on behalf of the applicant.
  • All questions and concerns regarding the status of a visa application should be directed to the Indonesian embassy or consulate where the visa application was submitted.
  • In no event shall the Organizing Committee be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from the visa application process or any related travel arrangements.

Visa Application Information for Indonesia

Most international participants will require one of the following to enter Indonesia:

  • A Tourist Visa (if not visa-exempt)
  • A Visa on Arrival (VoA) (available to citizens of eligible countries)
  • An Electronic Visa (e-Visa) (depending on nationality)

Please refer to the official website of the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration or your local Indonesian diplomatic mission for detailed procedures, visa categories, and eligibility.

Apply well in advance, ideally at least three months before travel, to ensure sufficient processing time.


How to Request a Visa Letter of Invitation

To request a Visa Letter of Invitation for this conference:

  1. Complete the Visa Letter Request Form available on the conference website.
  2. Ensure your conference registration is paid in full before submitting the request.
  3. Provide accurate personal details exactly as they appear on your passport.
  4. Allow 3–5 business days for processing.
  5. If required, specify whether you would like an electronic PDF copy or a physical hard copy to be mailed.

Once issued, the letter will be sent to you by email. Please use that letter in support of your visa application to the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your home country.
