Your Guide to the C2C-CTF 2026 Competition Format

Qualifier (Online, Individual)

  • The qualifier is conducted individually. Each participant competes on their own to solve a series of cybersecurity challenges.
  • Participants are expected to prepare their own internet connection, devices, and any required tools to complete the qualifier successfully.

Finals (In-Person, Team-Based)

  • The final round is a team competition. Teams of five participants will be formed directly by the organizers to ensure balanced skills and diversity.

  • The finals will take place in person at Universitas Indonesia, Bali, from 10–14 August 2026. Venue details and logistical information will be provided prior to the event.

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to the venue.

  • Accommodation and meals during the event will be provided by the organizers.

  • All competitors must bring their own laptops and essential peripherals. Reliable internet access and power outlets will be provided on site.

Team Structure

  • Teams for the final round will be assigned by the organizing committee, with a focus on fairness, inclusion, and balanced technical capability.

  • Each team will include five members, and a team leader will be appointed by the organizers.

  • Team names must follow appropriate standards. Names containing offensive or inappropriate content will not be permitted.

Ethics and Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to uphold strong ethical standards and fair play throughout the competition. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Disrupting, interfering with, or obstructing other teams, participants, or organizers.

  • Spying on or colluding with other teams or participants.

  • Sharing or requesting hints, clues, or answers from anyone outside your assigned team.

  • Participating in more than one team.

  • Performing any unauthorized attack on systems, networks, or event infrastructure.

Any violation may result in point deductions, team penalties, disqualification, or notification to the participant’s university. Organizers reserve the right to enforce actions necessary to preserve the integrity of the competition.

Rules and Policy Updates

Competition rules and policies may be updated as needed. Participants will be notified of any changes and will receive reminders at each stage of the competition to ensure clarity and fairness.
